Curriculum in English
The Knowledge Promotion Reform was introduced in autumn 2006. The reform covers primary, lower secondary and upper secondary education and training.
The reform places increased focus on basic skills and knowledge promotion through outcome-based learning. The (LK06) National Curriculum for Knowledge Promotion in Primary and Secondary Education and Training comprises:
- The Core Curriculum and the Quality Framework
- Subject Curricula
- Distribution of teaching hours per subject
